I have relatives who work in offices, a couple quite senior. I *could* do
their job, but I don't wanna. I turned down a promotion once because
it meant I'd have to leave the lab and shuffle papers instead. Don't regret
it. The money would have been better but I don't want that sort of job

People have very different characters and priorities
