hi there, i am new here. i have a project idea in mind that i would like to develop. my knowledge of pic programming/interfacing is basic so i should understand the input u fellas give to me. ok, this is what i have in mind: use a pic to control an injector via pwm to supply more fuel for a turbo upgrade. the input would be the ignition signal (rpm). i would program different duty cycles at different rpms to supply varying amounts of fuel. these are the following questions i need to start of: 1. how would i interface the ignition signal to the pic, the hardware part? 2. what pic would be the best? i already have pic10f202. would it be ok to use this? i really want to. 3. how do you "detect" 1 rpm with a pic? i don't want to use pics with pwm built-in, as i believe that would be too complicated for me. i want to keep the circuit as compact as possible so if i can use the 10f202, all the better. thanks for anyhelp. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
