This might look more like [OT] but if the Microchip supply dries up, it 
will certainly affect all PIC users.

The two main airports in Thailand have been shutdown by protestors.  The 
last several orders for dsPICs I have bought came direct from Thailand 
to the US.  Perhaps there are other ways out of the country for freight, 
such as by sea.

Does anyone on the list have any insight to the situation? Perhaps Roger?
