It has been a long time since I was impressed by a powerpoint presentation. Presentations says little to me about how a technology will be better or will resolve a problem in reality. A prototype that mix many moving pieces, including drivers in many OS, intermediate hosts, etc will tell me much more than a presentation. But if we talk about the presentations there, see for instance the "compliance" process for USB3 will be mostly reusing USB2 compliance process. So I wouldn't expect USB3 to be more reliable than USB2 when you mix pieces. In any case, I'm playing devil's advocate role here. See how many people reacted after somehow pushing USB2 to show its limits. The fact that someone criticizes a product or system isn't necesarily a bad thing for the engineering community. > -- Ariel Rocholl Madrid, Spain -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
