But I'm not sure if any of the devices being charged check for an acknowledgement from the hub before putting itself into charge mode. Or perhaps some device might slow or fast charge based on an acknowledgement? But how about just putting a few USB jacks on a PCB and wiring that to a regulated 5V wall-wart?
