And PICkit 2 does not support debugging of PIC32. Therefore you really have to go for ICD 3 or Real-ICE if you are going to use PIC32. Or wait for PICkit 3 and I am not so sure about the performance of PICkit 3 with PIC32. That is why I have remove the USB PIC32 PIM from my Explorer 16 and put a USB PIC24 PIM on it.
