I'll be embarking on a long drive in about a month and a half and I'm considering making a time lapse video of it. I've found a program that will automatically trigger the camera on one of my PDAs at a set interval. I tried it out on my drive to work and it seemed ok. Now I need to stitch the images together into a video file. Apparently you can use Windows Movie Maker for this, but on the one computer I managed to wrestle it on to the darn thing crashes if I add more than 6 images to the timeline. In addition, I need to add them all manually. I'm estimating around 8700 pictures will be needed to document this trip so something a bit more automated would be nice. So...does anyone know of any software (preferably low cost or free) that will take a bunch of jpgs and stitch them together into an AVI or something? Ideally it would also let me set the time each one appears, etc. Thanks!
