I highly recommend "Miro" which comes in Mac OS X, Winders, and Ubuntu flavors. Miro lets you search YouTube from its interface and download to its own local library. It also plays a number of video formats not immediately supported by QT, WMP, etc. You can find it at ... cheers ...
