Still having no luck with this writer. Installed DVD Flick to see if that
would wake it up, but no. It still does everything except write a DVD-R

It normally shows as DVD-RAM Drive (E:). If you put a blank DVD-R
in, it changes to CD-ROM Drive (E:). 'Properties' on that blank say it's
full
