On one hand I agree - but from the point of view of most of us on the
PIClist who mostly deal in quantities <1000, we don't worry about
pennies quite as much as the white-goods manufacturers who order PICs by
the 100k. Design time for something that will sell 1000 a year should be
first place ahead of saving $1 on the MCU.
