It also operates as quite a reasonable NAS device or as an external USB drive. It supports stand-alone torrent downloading and a bunch of other features. I have one with the Western Digital "GreenPower" 5400RPM 1TB drive (WD10EACS) and it's almost inaudible and runs very cool.
