Yes, but in the post to which I wrote that reply, I was wondering if the person who seemed to be attributed really wrote what they seemed to have - it involved extra effort for me to go back and find out that actually I wrote it! The situation wouldn't have been much better with no attribution, as I'd probably have still wondered if I wrote the quoted text and had to go back and check. The issue with the case in point is that too much of the context had also been removed (otherwise I might have recognized my own writing).
