Tracing a fault on a Bose Acoustimass board, I've found one blown component that I can't identify It's in an 0805 package, pink, with RL2 written on it There are two others on the board that measure 7k ohms either way. The blown part measures considerably more, and assymetrically It's in a series configuration. On one side of it is a pin of the 5-pin DIN socket, which is for an inputted 12VDC control signal. On the other side of it is a 100k resistor To me, the measurements and siting of it rule out a capacitor, diode and inductor. And if it was a resistor, why is it pink and without an ohmmage marking like every other resistor on the board ? Any ideas ? -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
