I scanned the archives and found nothing.  Googling I found a reader  
that claimed 1 meter range.  It was not clear to me if the reader  
required an active RFID card for this range.  Will any 125KHz card  
work up to a meter with the proper reader ?  Are there active and  
passive forms of the 125KHz RFID card ?
