Thanks for the links. I also found other snippets of USB info, and whereas that's how I learned to program PICs in the first place, it was definitely a lengthier process, and with all the other stuff I have to do it's hard to get motivated. In a class I can avoid most other distractions, as long as I can convince myself to switch off my phone :) . Since I need to be in Austin anyway, and this class is costing me zero, I really can't lose, except maybe a 8 hours of my life. I really need this knowledge soon. I really am into assembly, and though I know C very well, I haven't used it for PIC programming. I spoke with the Microchip folks running the class, about the prerequisites and they are fine with just having the prequisite knowledge, without me having to formally take the class. Bit I will download the free C18 compiler and play with it a bit before the class to get familiar with it. I think I have the USB presentations from the last Microchip Masters -- I remember downloading some of those a few months ago. I'll have to check later. Cheers, -Neil.
