In continuation (and response) to the "I hate C because Pascal is so wonderful" idea emitted here by several people, here is a little about the original Pascal and about some of the "wonderful" features it has, and where they originated: http://www.moorecad.com/standardpascal/cdc6400.html Never mind that later versions fixed (duct taped?) those problems and parleyed them successfully into advantages. (Now remember where Fortran got its six character original identifier length from and where Lisp got car and cdr from, and where C got its pre/post decrementing capability from, and you will see that Pascal is in good company).
