I agree with you, it *should* be mentioned and there should even be a cultural backlash starting by now against those who can't control their spending... But that's unlikely. Political parties (I'll be good and not say who, since politics isn't allowed on PICList) are promising "change" to fiscal enforcement policy, but not demanding "change" from the people themselves. That won't fix anything, long-term. Maybe some folks with a foreclosure and a bankruptcy on their name finally learned what they could truly afford, and maybe they didn't. We'll see how people behave in the next market up-swing in seven more years.
