For most of my old stuff, once it becomes unusable to me, I strip
everything down for parts.

For some of the PDAs you might want to see if linux will run on them.
They can then be used for other things (digital photo frame, gps, etc).

These are good for robotics. Use the LED outputs as GPIO or do bit-banged
SPI to a port expander if you require more outputs.
