Oh, occasional video and photo editing, I guess. Who knows? Except for the 10G ram, it's pretty much just the normal upgrade path for the aging 1.25GHz G4 DP that it replaced; most of the disk space is moved from the old system to the new... It was a good deal. It *is* the first time in quite a while where I've had the "best" computer in the house; usually I put up with something NOT near the cutting edge. This is the family's 8th mac, I think. The first (and most expensive) was a 68020 based IIci bought back when they WERE state-of-the-art.
