This is the clause that is in the code. And I can interpret 
"Redistributions in binary form" in only one way: the compiled/assembled 
code, the actual binary (PIC, in our case) instructions.

These licenses (BSD, LGPL, and a lot of others) simply were not made 
with (deeply) embedded systems in mind.
