I know that vim can solve most problems. Still, my intro to python was a bad one, and first impressions last. I am sure I will need to maintain python code again, (and I have had to now a few times already), but, I am content enough with the half-dozen languages I know really well to not have to befriend Python too. Everyone has a 'unfavoured' language that they belittle and deride. Python made it too easy to get on my list of 'daft' languages. perhaps I am getting old.....
