Hi John, I am replying personally as well as to the list. When a subject is changed from [EE] to [OT] it is necessary to remove the [EE] completely or else it goes to both OT and EE subscribers. I have pointed this out many times to the list and also to specific offenders but it is a losing battle. People that subscribe to the piclist are evidently no more intelligent or capable of learning than the general population but I love them just the same :) Cheerful regards, Bob On Wed, 24 Sep 2008 14:24:19 -0300, "John Coppens" said: > Hello guys > > Not sure if this is normal, but it's probably not entirely logical: > > When a subject's topic is changed, say from [EE] to [OT], I still receive > the messages, even though I just checked, and [OT] is disabled in my > preferences. > > What would be the sense of changing the topic and then continue > distributing mail to others? > > Note: Maybe I won't see the replies to this message - if needed, reply > personally. > > John -- http://www.fastmail.fm - I mean, what is it about a decent email service? -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
