Thinking it through you may conclude, but may not, that it would be logical to deduce that OT will always on average be "less clean" than TECH. Part of the object of TECH was to rescue better quality technical but non EE material from the general swampiness of OT. OT goes through cycles and seasons and also it's quality at any time is, in part, in the mind of the perceiver. Quite why someone would want to view OT subject matter but bar themselves from more technical material is something of a mystery to me, but 'it takes all kinds to make a world'. You and I are possibly good examples of the truth of that old saying :-). That which seems logical to you can be somewhat puzzling to me, and the opposite certainly seems to apply as well.
