We may know very well what's going on but an 18 year old freshman who
has never seen a micro before is still trying to figure out how assembly
instructions can be put together to form a program. Of course it seems
really easy to us to explain what a bootloader does but the more
complicated you make it, the less likely they are going to actually
understand it. It's not obvious. And it's not a math problem that you
can study.
