For daily browsing it's pretty good. Can't use it for work yet as I don't have Firebug, etc. I really like the scroll bar markings when you've done a "Find" in the page. Once the suite of plugins grows out, I'll probably use it full time. As somebody else mentioned, I'm mostly waiting for the Linux/Mac version to give it a proper workout. Having to fire up a VM to try out the browser is a bit of a pain. It's not surprising that vulnerabilities have been found. It's a complex piece of software that is still in development, and it has an enormous amount of attention focused on it right now. The really interesting thing will be to see: 1. How many vulnerabilities are found over time as it matures...is the codebase generally more secure than FF, etc. 2. How quickly does Google and the WebKit community respond to getting the holes patched. -Pete On Sep 4, 2008, at 3:53 PM, Brendan Gillatt wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Funny NYPD wrote: >> Here is a review on Google chrome, >> http://apnews.excite.com/article/20080904/D93047J80.html >> >> Curious anyone on the list actually tried it?
