I'm not a believer in the physics being explained in this thread. Having said that, I find many fun rabbit trails to follow. The Telsa Turbine was one that I found on one of the Zero Point Energy sites. I just follow along and pick up the interesting points to follow. The one I really like, v8 engine. 4 cylinder air compressor bank, and a 4 cylinder "steam" engine in the other 4 cylinders. Then you use the generator on the crankshaft to run the house. Never did figure out how to convince the guy it would not work. Just not enough common ground. -----Original Message----- >From: Sean Breheny >Sent: Aug 30, 2008 2:59 PM >To: "Microcontroller discussion list - Public." >Subject: Re: [OT] water as fuel for car : "fuel cell" ? > >However, unless we are prepared to give up on conservation of energy, >you should not be able to get more energy out of a permanent magnet >than went into its production (which isn't a whole lot). > >If you integrate the squared magnitude of the magnetic field around a >magnet with respect to volume, you will get the total energy which is >stored in the field of that magnet. > >Sean > > >On Sat, Aug 30, 2008 at 5:36 PM, Grif w. keith griffith > wrote: >> >> Fuel cells are interesting studies.
