Can send some of the rain to North central Ohio, we got 3/8" yesterday which was very spotty for the area. Other than that it's been 3 weeks since we saw any rain. As the weather comes from the Northwest, it seems that a storm following the Lake Erie South shore from Toledo to Sandusky (Cedar Point roller coasters), then either as if the lake is a magnet, follows the shore North of us. Or the storm breaks loose from the shore heads on a more Southern track and misses us to the South, and we stay dry, but 10 miles North of South of us gets the rain. But we appreciate it in the winter, when we many times have little snow. :) Richard Prosser wrote: > 2008/8/26 Jinx : > >>> That's strange - we're getting a lot of rain in NZ at the moment also! >>> >> I'm so sick of damp >> >> Don't forget the record snow >> >> Dude, where's my car ? >> >> http://www.nzherald.co.nz/column/story.cfm?c_id=702&objectid=10528909 >> >> -- >> > > Obviously North Island - Otherwise the Keas would have got there > before the photographer! > > RP > -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
