MCM has wall plates that are split and large size pass through holes for oversize connectors. They also have cables (HDMI, Audio, component video) in various lengths. The are a division of Newark and into Professional video and sound, SATV, CATV, security, and some computer stuff. If you order from them, they send sale flyers with good prices. http://www.mcmelectronics.com/search.aspx?C=&K=wall%20plate Could take a plain piece of plastic or metal, drill a hole and a grommet that has been split on one side for the cable to pass through, 2 screw holes, and split with a saw to allow the cable to get the hole. Paint to match. Also they have Baluns (some desktop or Keystone plate type) for various TV, computer (VGA,mouse, Keyboard) and sound that allow use of Cat-5 cable in the wall. Friend in the TV distribution (stations, apartments, commercial etc.) (and they probably weren't MCM's) claims these don't work well even short length for HDMI. Does anyone have experience with CAT-5 for HD tV, either HDMI, or HD component and Cat-5?
