Actually, if you already have the PIC18F2550 and 24LC512, which count about 20-30% of the total material cost, the low cost "ICKCB0703 - CB0703 Electronic Components Kits without U1, U3, U4" is not a bad deal at all. There are many people seems really enjoy the process of do-it-yourself. We do see some of them came back buy more CB0703 kits once they succeeded on the first run.
