I have a Epson Stylus PHOTO R 260 that prints directly onto a
CD Rom.  I experimented with a PCB once printed the traces
directly on PCB but it wouldn't etch.  Wrong ink I guess.

|I am looking for a printer - probably hand held - that can imprint
| directly  onto things like printed circuit boards and the like rather
| than onto a label that must be stuck to the assembly.

| I have seen large hand held wands several years ago for printing
| information on cardboard boxes for shipping and such but want one that
| can print small enough to do electronic assemblies.  Barcode is not 
desired.
