I am looking for a printer - probably hand held - that can imprint 
directly  onto things like printed circuit boards and the like rather 
than onto a label that must be stuck to the assembly.

I have seen large hand held wands several years ago for printing 
information on cardboard boxes for shipping and such but want one that 
can print small enough to do electronic assemblies.  Barcode is not desired.

Anyone seen anything like that?
