Also, when doing the tutorials, choose a common part and stick to it throughout. It will make things far more straightforward for the learner. Nice to see someone helping out the beginners. I was in the same boat as you when I first used a dsPIC, and to be honest I've barely scratched the surface with these parts so far; I'm sure to take a read of any tutorial you write.
