You probably need something like this: http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail?name=1-487545-7-ND These are FPC cables, and they do have connectors for them in the 0.05" pitch format. Digikey search "connector" --> FFC, FPC (Flat Flex) - Connectors - Free Hanging (856 items) --> Select positions and pitch. Keep in mind that you're probably going to have to secure the cables mechanically, and the FPC cables do have a minimum bend radius. You might be able to simply use a bead of silicone adhesive between the connector and the board once mated. Depending on your application a lower profile connection would require a custom PCB. You might also contact the manufacturer and have them replace the sip connector with an FPC through hole with the same pitch when they build your lot, or not install one at all and you can install it at your assembly. -Adam On 8/15/08, Forrest Christian wrote: > I've got component (module) which comes standard with a single-row > header that I need to interconnect to another piece of circuitry with > some sort of flexible cable.
