"Global Climate Science" is a very new science, not very compatible with "the scientific method", and not very well understood (shucks, short term climate issues aren't very well understood, are they?) And yet competitors at both ends of the argument are using each infinitesimal PIECE of data to predict either "everything will be fine" or "we are all doomed." The reality is that we don't have a clue, and we aren't likely to have a clue until whatever will happen HAS happened. Sigh. The other major problem is suggested "solutions" that are not well thought out, or even well understood, in terms of THEIR consequences...
