With interlacing (1080i at 60Hz format) you send half that 60 times per second for a total uncompressed data rate of 62.6 Mbyte/sec or 498 Mbit/sec. 498/17 = about 30:1 compression. Two hours of 17 Mbit/sec is 15.3 Gbytes, which makes the claim of 2 hours recording time on a 16 Gbyte card seem plausible. ******************************************************************** Embed Inc, Littleton Massachusetts, http://www.embedinc.com/products (978) 742-9014.
