In SX Microcontrollers, SX/B Compiler and SX-Key Tool, robotworkshop wrote: Hello Joe, I can't say for sure what is wrong but I can ask some questions which may help uncover what the issue is..... Can you also post your program that IS working for the SX28 so people can see both versions?? In particular are you just changing the chip description for the chip between SX28 and SX48 and nothing else? Reason I ask is that by default you don't have to specify things like TURBO mode, etc on the SX48 chip since they are on by default. I usually always use the extra TURBO option on the SX28 chip so it acts the same. If you don't specify that then the chips will act differently which may affect the timing. It may be something as simple as altering the device line in your program. Also, how are things wired? Do you have a schematic on how everything is connected? One other question is what you are using for your clock source. During your tests are these being run via an SX-Key (Serial or USB), Internal RC, resonator, or an Oscillator? If you are using the internal RC oscillator have you trying using the IRC calibration to help it be a little more accurate? Hopefully you'll get it resolved.
