ok a couple things, one if it programs your f84, your looking good, check
your pinout and check it again. if you must, for troubleshooting, put your
12f chip in a breadboard and run wires over from your
programmer,(gnd,vcc,vpp,clock,data) to the chip. if that does dot work,
check your voltage between vpp and gnd. (if you are using ic-prog you can
turn on the individual signals for testing) you may not be getting
sufficient programming voltage, a lot of the 12f chips have a smaller
tolerance for this. if this is the case, try another computer if one is
available, some modern serial drivers dot supply enough power, otherwise you
need an external PS. tell me how that works out.
