I'm looking on the internet for a battery holder that will hold two AA's 
in series (i.e. to give 3 volts).

I've seen a few holders on sites such as Farnell, but they don't mention 
whether the batteries are held in series or in parallel.

Is it just safe to assume that they're in series... ?
