Certainly it is possible between some types of card. CompactFlash, Secure
Digital, MultiMedia Card and XD cards all have published specifications
that allow data transfer. The others will required $=A3$=A3 to get access to
the specifications.

If you select one of the higher end PICs, you can use DMA to greatly
increase the speed of the transfer.
