I am looking for a simple circuit boost converter that will use a single Leclanche battery as source (down to 0.9V end of life or whatever passes for that) and provide 3.3 or up to 5.0V at a few mA for a microprocessor. I know that there are some Chinese parts that do this, in SOT123 or similar. They only use an external smd inductor and recovery diode (and two caps). Any pointers would be appreciated. Availability in small qty is a must. Low price would be nice. thanks, Peter -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
