The casting is heated cherry red, and sprayed with a powder that melts , flows out and when cool is the glass like porcelain finish. May be heated and sprayed and reheated several times to get the wanted finish. I might have seen where the powder was poured out a a 2 gallon bucket sized ladle, but not sure of that.
