Different PICs vary in this regard. The standard "I" temperature range is often just from 0-70C or something like that. Some PICs only come in one temperature grade that does cover -40C, for others -40C is included in the "I" grade. It's your job to look this up and make sure you are using the right temperature grade. I was just trying to point out this issue because it is something you might not have thought about. For many PICs, the "E" grade would be required for -40C. > Still, as murphy so often does, I > found the reference soon after sending my mail. Get used to how email lists work. I and probably many others here read and reply to messages in the order they are received. If I've been away for a day or more, I might look ahead before answering something, but after only a few hours I'm not going to bother. The server also occasionally delivers messages out of order, up to a hour or so as far as I can tell. > But, no answer yet from the great Olin. Actually I did answer and have already seen it on the list. Apparently you process messages in the received order too. > I see that he has answered > lots > of other things so I can only assume one of a few things.... You missed the obvious, which is all those other things were in response to message received before yours. > and it frustrates me more when he refuses to answer things ... You are never owed a answer here. ******************************************************************** Embed Inc, Littleton Massachusetts, http://www.embedinc.com/products (978) 742-9014.
