I'll have a 40-pin Dual In-line Package PIC16F887 on my board, and I want to be able to both program and debug it while it's in its circuit. On my board, the Vss pin of the 887 will be hardwired to 5 V... but will I need this to be a higher voltage for programming it? I'm reading through the datasheet right now, but could someone please help me out? Basically I want to know which pins I should connect to a header so that I can hook up my Pickit2 to the board to program and debug it. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
