Harold, I looked @ LT1370 it looks very good. So you used maxim part together to make it constant current LED application right? I like to know what maxim part you used if possible. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ About the product: What color led did you use? Is the black piece clear plastic? How do you charge batterys? Are you using luxeon? Very nice looking product you designed. That's very good. Subject: RE: [EE] Looking for Constant Current Boost IC I used an LT1370 boost converter to drive a high power LED in http://www.denmat.com/lights/allegro/ . I used a Maxim current sense amplifier with a small current sense resistor (a few milliohms) to drive the feedback input on the LT1370. Works well. I also just used the LT1370 recently in a flyback converter to generate several voltages from a 12VDC input to a product.
