At the moment I've got Spybot installed. I used to use AVG but it was a 
pain in the ass constantly giving me prompts for stupid stuff.

What free anti-whatever software would you suggest for a power user?

And what free anti-whatever software would you suggest for a novice 
user, e.g. if you were working as a computer doctor installing 
anti-whatever on machines?
