The '-b' parameter not do an incremental backup but only a 'backup' . Reread the manual: http://rsync.samba.org/ftp/rsync/rsync.html First, if you want an incremental backup you MUST define some parameters and think about this. - time schedule - number of copies - expected/maximum size - etc If you have more computers this is a big problem... think well!
