But you shouldn't be using absolute mode anyway.  It still exists for
backwards compatibility with ancient code, but is very bad programming given
today's MPASM/MPLIB/MPLINK suite.  Unfortunately  Microchip doesn't actively
discourage absolute mode as they should, and a lot of references to it are
still scattered in the documentation, giving someone not reading carefully
the idea that absolute mode is somehow OK to use.  They should remove all
absolute mode references and put them in a appendix "Absolute Mode For
Backward Compatibility".
