Hi, I do not use it daily but tried out couple of times and each time I had the conclusion that it is a great toy for beginners that can reduce the learning curve, but nothing could be better than the real hw. If you thinking about that you may also considering virtualbreadboard.com, it's something similar with some LS74xx and other logic circuit simulation. For professional use I'd go for MPLAB with learning the SCL and might worth Proteus VSM - but that one maybe another zero or two at the end of the price tag you mentioned. (MPLAB is free though). Oh, and you can use PicKit2 + MPLAB for real hw debugging with some nice demo boards instead - that is kind of the same price as with the Oshonsoft or the VirtualBreadboard, but you will be able to measuring, touching and basically experiencing the same hw problems you could face of during the fw development. Good luck Tamas On Fri, Jun 13, 2008 at 2:41 PM, Marc Nicholas wrote: > Hi all, > > Is anyone using the Oshonsoft PIC18 simulator?
