All,

I asked the seller why the high shipping cost a few days ago.  He said
to just figure it in as part of the cost of the unit.
I'll offer him 1 dollar for it to see if he takes me up on the idea.
$1.00 for the unit, $20.00 for shipping.  Total $21.00.
Rather competetive for a serial LCD don't you think?
