I welcome your offer to become an admin and police the list. Please read the Admin and User sections of the Mailman list manuals and be prepared to answer a few simple questions on common list operations. You will then be added as an admin and be able to kick off or moderate list members. -- James. -----Original Message----- From: piclist-bounces@mit.edu [mailto:piclist-bounces@mit.edu] On Behalf Of Peter Sent: Saturday, June 07, 2008 11:03 To: piclist@mit.edu Subject: [SPAM]: Question about member Please kill this thread or move it to the usenet where it will become insignificant among other political threads and v16g46 ads. The rules are pretty simple, either one uses language and discourse that is sufficiently politically correct for the list or one gets reprimanded. It doesn't take a PhD to understand that. So far the success rate is about 1499:1 (the ratio of list members who need no chaperone vs. those who do). In the past few days this thread has exceeded all limits, and, not last, the volume. I am nether for nor against chaperoning. I am AGAINST discussing that issue on the piclist. alt.sociology would be more appropriate imho.
